GOD replies to the prayer of Habakkuk, but before enlightening him on what he is going to do, God instructs Habakkuk in the way to react to the reply to his prayer. What is so wonderful about these two verses is that we are given instruction as to how we should think.....

God's forgiveness is, so to speak, the preliminary grace, which enables the beginning of a new life, so that we become holy and loving children. Forgiveness is the prerogative of him who has been sinned against. "Who can forgive sins save God only?"
7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace
A person is his or her name. Just as in English today, a reference in Hebrew to people's names referred to their reputation and their character. In fact, we often speak of maintaining - or restoring - our good name, meaning our good reputation.
26 Seth also had a son, and he named him Enosh. At that time people began to call on the name of the LORD.
The Philippian Christians had learned the secret of joyful, liberal financial giving. The church in Philippi had taken up an offering to give to Paul, in prison because of his faith. Paul wrote back to the church and expressed his joy (see verse 10). Joy, or its derivative, occurs almost 20 times in this letter.
